DISTRIBUTION AMERICA & PRO GROUP AWARD HONORS TO VENDORS DURING EXECUTIVE PARTNERSHIP CONFERENCE (February 24, 2003) Distribution America and PRO Group hosted vendors at private meetings and awards presentations during the joint Executive Partnership Conference in Colorado Springs February 18-22, 2003.   Distribution America presented Vendor of the Year honors to: Cooper Wiring Devices, Boss Manufacturing, Midwest Fastener Corporation, Shop-Vac Corporation, Robert Bosch Tool Group, The Wooster Brush Company and Genova Products, Inc. with the overall "Vendor Partnership Award" going to The Stanley Works.   PRO Group presented Key Supplier of the Year awards to Rubbermaid, Kidde, Robert Bosch Group/Vermont American Division, Genova Products, Master Lock and DAP. PRO awarded the overall Key Supplier of the Year award to Cooper Tools.   The new product exposition area at the conference featured products showcased by manufacturers in attendance. Distributor buyers rated the best new products, and awards were presented for the best new products by category, as determined by conference attendees. 3M took home the prize for "Overall Best New Product" for Scotch Transparent Duct Tape. Category winners included Boss Manufacturing Company (Fleeced Lined Knit Glove with Latex Palm, Oatey SCS (Big Plumbers Hand Towels), Dow Chemical Company (Great Stuff Small Jobs 6oz.), Cooper Lighting (110W Work Light with PAR Bold & Protective Grill), Custom Leathercraft (Glove Merchandiser), Shop-Vac Corporation (14 Gallon 5.5 HP Ultra PRO Series Wet-Dry Vac) and New York Wire Company (Sun Screening).
